MESH AND FINIAL SPACING

The correct placement of Finials and Mesh is given in the table below and it is directly linked to the LPS Class.

METHODS OF AIR TERMINATION SYSTEM DESIGN
The correct placement of Finials and re-checking the Rolling Sphere will now provide protection for the entire structure.
The Finials are to be bonded with a ridge conductor as shown. Ridge conductor recommended support centres is 1000mm.
The IEC Standard does not specify a minimum length of finial. In practice a minimum of 0.5m, however 1m long is recommended.
The correct design length is determined by the PROTECTIVE ANGLE that the Finials will provide to the sides of the structure
